One might sensibly be tempted to ask, what does childhood cancer have to do with girls' talent. The short answer is, I don't know. So why bring it into this site then? Basically, it's a big problem and it needs publicity, lots of it. If we look at the Campaign page of this site, it can be seen that a lot of problems that befall girls are addressed there too. Maybe in the future, this site will change its name in order to embrace a range of topics that affect girls.
